{"id":479985,"date":"2021-03-31T11:50:31","date_gmt":"2021-03-31T09:50:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=479985"},"modified":"2021-03-31T11:51:29","modified_gmt":"2021-03-31T09:51:29","slug":"mtn-expands-mobile-money-cash-services-through-pick-n-pay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/finance\/479985\/mtn-expands-mobile-money-cash-services-through-pick-n-pay\/","title":{"rendered":"MTN expands mobile money cash services through Pick n Pay"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MTN has announced that its MoMo (Mobile Money) subscribers will be able to cash-in and cash-out at 1,647 Pick n Pay stores across the country from 1 April.<\/p>\n<p>Customers need to be registered on the MoMo app to use the new service, and will also require an eight-digit voucher number and a PIN number to perform a MoMo transaction at the Pick n Pay point of sale tills.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, MoMo customers have only able to cash-out through bank EFTs, at an MTN store or via a MoMo agent.<\/p>\n<p>MTN said that its MoMo service has no monthly fees and no monthly charges.
