{"id":48678,"date":"2013-10-31T10:20:44","date_gmt":"2013-10-31T08:20:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=48678"},"modified":"2013-10-31T10:22:34","modified_gmt":"2013-10-31T08:22:34","slug":"goodbye-toptv-hello-starsat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/48678\/goodbye-toptv-hello-starsat\/","title":{"rendered":"Goodbye TopTV, hello StarSat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Digital Media (ODM) announced at a media briefing on Thursday, 31 October 2013, that it will relaunch its pay TV satellite offering as \u201cStarSat\u201d &#8211; effectively killing of TopTV.<\/p>\n<p>Previously called TopTV, subscribers reported that the broadcaster has been\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadcasting\/88169-toptv-becoming-startimes-tv.html\">testing the new StarSat branding<\/a>\u00a0for weeks.<\/p>\n<p>ODM said that it is in the process of concluding the implementation of its business rescue plan.
