{"id":49317,"date":"2013-11-12T09:43:30","date_gmt":"2013-11-12T07:43:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=49317"},"modified":"2013-11-12T09:56:19","modified_gmt":"2013-11-12T07:56:19","slug":"internet-stocks-lose-their-shine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/internet\/49317\/internet-stocks-lose-their-shine\/","title":{"rendered":"Internet stocks lose their shine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Morgan Stanley lowered its industry view on internet stocks to &#8220;in-line&#8221; from &#8220;attractive,&#8221; saying growth in the sector needs to accelerate to justify current valuations.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of Facebook Inc and LinkedIn Corp have more than doubled in the last one year, and trade 44 and 97 times forward earnings, according to Thomson Reuters data.
