Nashua Mobile CEO, Mark Taylor, has been appointed as an executive director to Reunert’s board.<\/p>\n
Taylor joins CBI-electric MD, Alan Dickson in the appointment.<\/p>\n
“Both have extensive experience in their respective industries and the board looks forward to their contributions as executive directors of Reunert,” the company said.<\/p>\n
On 20 November 2013, Reunert reported a 3% decline in revenue to R11.4 billion for the year ended 30 September 2013, from the R11.7 billion recorded the year before.<\/p>\n
The loss was mainly due to the holding company\u2019s CBI-electric and Nashua segments, which saw revenue losses of 4% and 6%, respectively.<\/p>\n
CBI’s losses saw revenue to R3.5 billion, while Nashua saw revenue decline to R6.8 billion (2012: R7.22 billion) \u2013 while operating profit declined by 24% to R636 million, from R839 million in 2012.<\/p>\n
On 15 November, Reunert announced that Nashua MD, David Coutinho had stepped down from his position as managing director \u201cto pursue other interests\u201d.<\/p>\n
Coutinho\u2019s post will be filled by marketing director of Nashua, Dave Hallas who became acting MD.<\/p>\n
