{"id":50562,"date":"2013-12-05T10:51:48","date_gmt":"2013-12-05T08:51:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=50562"},"modified":"2013-12-05T10:58:10","modified_gmt":"2013-12-05T08:58:10","slug":"itunes-gift-codes-on-fnbs-banking-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/banking\/50562\/itunes-gift-codes-on-fnbs-banking-app\/","title":{"rendered":"iTunes gift codes on FNB&#8217;s banking app"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>First National Bank (FNB) says that its customers can now buy iTunes gift codes for the iTunes Store in South Africa using the FNB banking app.<\/p>\n<p>Apple launched iTunes in SA in December 2012, with \u00a0iTunes gift cards in Rand denominations becoming available at iStores and Pick \u2019n Pay outlets across South Africa in October.<\/p>\n<p>FNB noted that iTunes gift codes are available from R150 to R3,000.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The codes can be purchased using an FNB Cheque Account or by using eBucks accumulated through our eBucks Rewards Programme. A big plus is that you can pay in local currency with the added peace of mind that you do not divulge bank account details to a third party,\u201d said Kartik Mistry, head of smart devices at FNB\u2019s Core Banking Solutions.<\/p>\n<p>The bank added that, for a limited time only, it will give clients up to 40% of the purchase price back in eBucks.
