{"id":50627,"date":"2013-12-06T10:30:04","date_gmt":"2013-12-06T08:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=50627"},"modified":"2013-12-06T10:38:42","modified_gmt":"2013-12-06T08:38:42","slug":"no-iphones-for-china-yet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/50627\/no-iphones-for-china-yet\/","title":{"rendered":"No iPhones for China yet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>China Mobile Ltd, the country&#8217;s largest mobile operator, said it is still negotiating with Apple Inc to offer iPhones on its network, commenting on a media report saying that a long-awaited agreement had been reached.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the day, the Wall Street Journal reported that the two giants had signed a deal, citing an anonymous source familiar with the matter.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are still negotiating with Apple, but for now we have nothing new to announce,&#8221; China Mobile spokeswoman Rainie Lei said, declining to elaborate.
