In the past, the wireless network in most organizations was treated as a tactical resource used to incrementally improve productivity by untying an employee from his or her desk.

In a connected business, Wi-Fi is a strategic asset that can be used to create new business processes and change the way organizations interact with employees, customers and others.

This will increase customer loyalty, enable the creation of new processes, lower costs and bring productivity to new heights.

Building a robust wireless network using Wi-Fi 6 should be a top initiative for business and IT leaders. However, stressed Gys, the market is evolving rapidly, and developing a strategy can be a challenge.

He went on to add that this is why top tier companies are implementing wireless in their offices, to boost their working efficiency.

The same is true of many sectors, in especially the education sector, as employing Wi-Fi networks enables teachers and students to conveniently learn online and access all the resources they need.

Virtual reality and augmented reality are adding to the mix and making studying more convenient and simpler than ever.

Investing in reliable wireless systems ensures more reliable Internet and better connectivity to help employees keep up with their job requirements.

This is because sharing a Wi-Fi connection whilst engaging in telecommuting, video calling or downloading large files can slow down the connectivity and affect productivity.

The average office has a multitude of connected devices, competing for the same wireless bandwidth.

The terminology “Wi-Fi 6” is new. Recently, the Wi-Fi Alliance issued a new name to make it simpler for the average person to understand. “Wi-Fi 6” refers to the IEEE standard 802.11ax.

The issue with Wi-Fi connectivity isn’t about speed but more about how it handles congestion as the network becomes overcrowded.

Wi-Fi 6 solves many of the problems of traditional Wi-Fi by completely redesigning how the technology works, as it takes many best practices from 4G/LTE networks.

Wi-Fi 6’s speed and efficiency give it game-changing potential.

Historically, for high-bandwidth applications such as real-time video and digital signage, businesses had to use a wired connection because older versions of Wi-Fi could not deliver the necessary quality.

Wi-Fi 6 is the first wireless standard that will enable businesses to shift to an all-wireless workplace where all devices and applications connect via Wi-Fi. As technologies such as 4K video, automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and VR/AR become mainstream, the need for Wi-Fi 6 increases.

Trailblazing businesses are early adopters that strive to stay ahead of the curve with respect to technology. Wi-Fi 6 provides the best possible experience for their customers and employees, and the technology and are a top consideration.

Many options are available to businesses with respect to Wi-Fi 6, and decision makers need to ensure they are making the best possible choice. Huawei has been a pioneer in the technology, and the company has a highly differentiated solution currently available.

Huawei has been at the forefront of Wi-Fi 6 since 2011.

It has held one of the 16 board member positions for the Wi-Fi Alliance and three chair positions in the 13 standard task groups devoted to 802.11ax research. In addition, a Huawei expert served as the chairperson for the 802.11ax standards task force in 2014, and Huawei released the first prototype later that year.

In 2017, Huawei become the world’s first vendor to develop a Wi-Fi 6 beta product, and its AP7060DN was the first commercially released product in 2018. In addition to the standard features available with Wi-Fi 6 specifications..

Choosing the right partner is critical, and Huawei is undoubtedly the leader in Wi-Fi 6, as it understands the need to accelerate digital transformation across industries and enterprises alike.

Its AirEngine Wi-Fi 6 solution, was the industry’s first enterprise-class Wi-Fi 6 network in Shanghai, which was deployed in 2018.

Since then, the AirEngine Wi-Fi 6, which is powered by several 5G enhanced technologies, has been the clear choice for a large number of customers across the globe, who through Huawei’s partners, have been able to build robust Wi-Fi 6 networks with absolutely no coverage holes, no wait time, and importantly, no packet loss during roaming at all.

Huawei’s growth into a dominant global vendor has coincided with its partnership with leading South African ICT distributor Mustek.
The partnership has had a major impact on the ICT industry in South Africa not only by driving innovation, but also by changing the lives of many South Africans.

Key to the partnership between Huawei and Mustek is the shared entrepreneurial appetite even as both companies are established in the South African ICT space.

It is this innovation that has grown Huawei within the local market, as the global ICT powerhouse has been willing to take chances in order to improve its offerings, and Mustek has worked alongside them every step of the way.

Key to the success of Mustek’s distribution of Huawei ICT products has been its large network of South African resellers.

The relationship between Mustek and its resellers has evolved over the years, said Mustek’s Huawei business unit manager Donna Mostert, with Mustek committed to providing end-user support.

“This has provided huge advantages and far more value-add as we can work together with the end-user and the reseller to provide best-fit solutions,” says Donna Mostert, Huawei Line of Business Manager at Mustek.

To find out more, Contact Mustek on:

Huaweisales@mustek.co.za

011 237 1000

You can also find out more from Mustek about becoming a reseller by completing the form below.

[10459
1097
post-508184","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-industry-news","tag-mustek
["GET
