Rumour has it that Dimension Data and Naspers are in talks regarding a merger between Mweb and Internet Solutions (IS), according to a report on Techcentral.<\/p>\n
Despite denials from executives at Dimension Data and Internet Solutions, the report said that a deal leaving Naspers with 20% of Mweb while Dimension Data held the remaining 80% could be on the cards.<\/p>\n
Asked for comment on the report, both Dimension Data and Naspers declined to comment.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is the Group\u2019s long-standing policy that we don\u2019t comment on market rumour or speculation about Dimension Data, or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries,\u201d a spokesperson for Dimension Data told MyBroadband.<\/p>\n
The sentiment was echoed by a Naspers spokesperson, who said, \u201cIt is our company policy not to comment on press speculation.\u201d<\/p>\n
