Domestic airline Lift has launched a new luxury option on its route between Johannesburg and Cape Town – Lift Premium.<\/p>\n

Lift said that all premium travellers receive unlimited booking changes and will be able to change or cancel their flight right up to one hour before departure without any penalties.<\/p>\n

The premium upgrade includes more legroom, wider seating, and a converted middle seat which serves as an additional tray table.<\/p>\n

Other features include extra baggage options, a coffee voucher, fast-tracked security, priority boarding and lounge access.<\/p>\n

Lift said that the Premium service would officially launch on 10 October 2021.<\/p>\n

Bookings between Johannesburg and Cape Town from this date show that a Premium return ticket will cost around R2,850<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Kulula<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lift competitor Comair has said that it will resume flights in South Africa from 1 September 2021.<\/p>\n

The airline, which operates Kulula.com and British Airways (operated by Comair), temporarily halted services on 5 July in response to the adjusted level 4 lockdown.<\/p>\n

Comair said it developed new, flexible fare options to meet customers\u2019 differing requirements during the suspension period.<\/p>\n

The three bundled affordable Kulula.com offerings will allow customers to pay only for what they need. The new bundles include:<\/p>\n
