Sandra du Toit is a trained attorney with more than a decade’s worth of experience in investment banking, serving as EY Africa corporate finance leader.<\/p>\n
Du Toit qualified as an attorney and practised corporate commercial law, focusing on all aspects of mergers and acquisitions.<\/p>\n
She left legal practice for a career in investment banking, heading up the Corporate Finance team for Standard Bank South Africa, before taking on a more specialised role, originating and executing complex, cross-border multi-product transactions.<\/p>\n
Du Toit joined EY Africa as corporate finance leader where she advises clients on the strategic approach to transactions, helps them plan it, supports them in negotiating it, and helps them to ensure that the whole transaction is implemented on sound terms and conditions.<\/p>\n
