The job openings include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teachers;<\/li>\n<li>Mentors &amp; learning coaches;<\/li>\n<li>Teaching assistants;<\/li>\n<li>Software developers;<\/li>\n<li>Content creators;<\/li>\n<li>Learning designer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All available positions can be accessed for online applications <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/apply.workable.com\/valenture-institute-pty-ltd\/?lng=en&amp;utm_source=Media+Release&amp;utm_medium=Newsflash&amp;utm_campaign=UCT+OHS+Staff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Employees of Valenture Institute &amp; UCT Online High School have access to a variety of work benefits such as a family member tuition discount, remote work, voluntary saving programme, birthday leave, wellness Wednesdays, meditation sessions and referral bonuses,&#8221; the university said.<\/p>\n<p>It added that all applicants can expect a six-stage online recruitment process, as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Find a job you&#8217;re interested in and fill in the online application form;<\/li>\n<li>Complete a 10-18 minute assessment with your details;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct a video interview;<\/li>\n<li>Get a feel for the future job by doing a role-based assignment;<\/li>\n<li>Ask and answer questions in a live interview with your prospective team members;<\/li>\n<li>Sign the offer letter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The UCT online high school has been designed to service South African learners from various socioeconomic means.<\/p>\n<p>It offers a CAPS-aligned curriculum with learners in grades 8-11 from anywhere in the world able to study for a monthly fee of R2,095. Grade 12 will be offered from 2023, the school said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the curriculum will be made available from January 2022 for free in an interactive online platform called the Open UCT Free Curriculum.
