Vodafone Global Enterprise (VGE), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Vodafone Group, announced that Deon Liebenberg has been appointed vice president of VGE Africa, effective the 1st April 2014.<\/p>\n
Liebenberg was previously the managing executive for VGE at Vodacom in South Africa and CEO for the Vodacom Business Africa Group of companies across Africa.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining Vodacom Liebenberg was the head of Telkom Business Mobile, and the MD at Samsung South Africa.<\/p>\n
He also served as the vice president and managing director for Africa at Research In Motion (RIM)<\/p>\n
Liebenberg\u2019s new role at VGE will involve the management of the VGE portfolio which serves Vodafone\u2018s largest multinational customers across Africa.<\/p>\n
Liebenberg holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of the Free State, as well as a Bachelor of Business Management and Administration, and a Masters in Business and Administration from the University Of Stellenbosch.<\/p>\n
