{"id":53233,"date":"2014-02-19T00:05:47","date_gmt":"2014-02-18T22:05:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=53233"},"modified":"2014-02-18T16:59:07","modified_gmt":"2014-02-18T14:59:07","slug":"the-biggest-e-retailers-in-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/53233\/the-biggest-e-retailers-in-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"The biggest e-retailers in the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Financial services company Deloitte has compiled a list of the top 50 global e-retailers indicating an average growth of 29% in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The Deloitte 2014 Global Powers of Retailing report ranks retailers, both brick and mortar and online, by tracking fiscal years from 2012 through June 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Looking specifically at e-retailers, Deloitte\u00a0noted that 42 of the top performing e-50\u00a0companies are multi-channel retailers, with only 8 being non-store or web-only.<\/p>\n<p>Deloitte pointed out that e-commerce accounted for a significant share of total retail revenue &#8211;
