{"id":53238,"date":"2014-02-17T15:46:47","date_gmt":"2014-02-17T13:46:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=53238"},"modified":"2014-02-17T15:46:47","modified_gmt":"2014-02-17T13:46:47","slug":"we-may-have-been-too-aggressive-sanral","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/53238\/we-may-have-been-too-aggressive-sanral\/","title":{"rendered":"We may have been too aggressive: Sanral"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Parliament&#8217;s transport portfolio committee will be briefed on Gauteng&#8217;s e-tolls on Tuesday, SA National Roads Agency Limited (Sanral) said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We look forward to the opportunity to explain what went wrong with e-tolling, but also what went right,&#8221; spokesman Vusi Mona said in a statement on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Sanral would also reconsider the wording used in some customer correspondence as it &#8220;may unintentionally also have been too aggressive&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Of the 2.6 million vehicles that used e-toll roads each month, 0.3 percent had complained about the system. Mona apologised for any inconvenience caused.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We close out the bulk of complaints within five days.
