Nashua Holdings, a\u00a0subsidiary\u00a0of listed firm Reunert, has acquired a 60% stake in Prodoc Svenska AB, a Swedish office automation, document solutions and workflow provider.<\/p>\n
Nashua and Prodoc both supply Ricoh products and rank within Ricoh International\u2019s top five independent office automation distributors.<\/p>\n
Nashua said the acquisition will provide\u00a0the\u00a0company\u00a0with growth opportunities in a new territory and first-hand knowledge of managed document solutions that it will be able to roll out to its home-market customers.<\/p>\n
Prodoc, which was established in 1976, has grown revenue considerably after a management buy-out three years ago. Nashua\u2019s capital injection and expertise in franchising and its asset financing model should bolster further expansion.<\/p>\n
\u201cProdoc has a strong management team with a proven track record,\u201d said Dave Rawlinson, CEO of Reunert Limited, Nashua\u2019s holding company.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis partnership will not only provide us with access to innovative document workflow systems, but could also provide an ideal base to expand into other Nordic countries.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prodoc has 130 employees and strategic partnerships with several leading Swedish information technology outsourcing companies. Its product range includes managed print services, managed document solutions, video conferencing and managed office services.<\/p>\n
