Anti-virus software group\u00a0Symantec announced it has appointed Nick Christodoulou as its new country manager in South Africa.<\/p>\n
Christodoulou\u00a0\u00a0will be responsible for growing Symantec\u2019s consumer, commercial and enterprise business, while strengthening cooperation with partners.<\/p>\n
He will report directly to regional director Gordon Love, who oversees Symantec\u2019s business across the vast region of Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META).<\/p>\n
\u201cRaising the level of security awareness for users and educating businesses about how they can better manage critical information to ensure business continuity are top priorities,\u201d\u00a0\u00a0said Christodoulou.<\/p>\n
Christodoulou has in excess of 15 years experience working in IT where he has held various sales and marketing leadership positions covering South Africa and East Africa.<\/p>\n
Prior to Symantec, he served as regional partner manager for EMC where he advanced the success of the company\u2019s key partners and cross-functional team.<\/p>\n
He also served as GM for AxizWorkgroup where he developed sales strategy for its respective enterprise solution vendors.<\/p>\n
