{"id":53529,"date":"2014-02-24T10:29:27","date_gmt":"2014-02-24T08:29:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=53529"},"modified":"2014-02-24T10:29:27","modified_gmt":"2014-02-24T08:29:27","slug":"outa-sanral-e-tag-sales-figures-are-hogwash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/53529\/outa-sanral-e-tag-sales-figures-are-hogwash\/","title":{"rendered":"Outa: Sanral e-tag sales figures are hogwash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sanral needs to be transparent on e-tag sales in light of the impression it was creating that motorists were &#8220;clamouring&#8221; to be tagged, the Opposition to Urban Tolling Alliance (Outa) said on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sanral&#8217;s number of 1,2 million e-tags &#8216;taken up&#8217; is hogwash,&#8221; said Outa spokesman John Clarke in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What does &#8216;taken up&#8217; mean?
