Cell C<\/a>\u00a0has announced new pre-paid and contract packages that offer unlimited calls to any network.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome operators are offering complex new promotions, which confuse and muddy the true value, or lack thereof, in their products. Cell C\u2019s two new promotions will surprise and delight customers with their simplicity and unbelievable value for money,\u201d said Cell C Acting CEO, Jose Dos Santos.<\/p>\n

For R999, pre-paid customers can buy the \u201cInfinity Pre-paid\u201d package, which offers unlimited calls, 1,000 SMS messages, and 1GB of data.<\/p>\n

On a 24-month contract, Cell C will offer Infinity Select for R1,799 per month which includes unlimited calls, unlimited SMS messages, 3GB of data, and a handset.<\/p>\n

Customers can get the iPhone 5s 16GB for R1,799 per month; iPhone 5s 32GB for R1,899; and iPhone 5s 64GB for R1,999.<\/p>\n

Cell C also offers annual handset upgrades for users on Infinity Select, as well as a guarantee that should the handset be damaged during the term of the contract, it will be replaced.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe smartphone market has a fast-paced turnover of new devices. Cell C wanted to give our customers the option of upgrading their devices as the manufacturers bring in new ones. Annual handset upgrades for users on this package is a no brainer,\u201d says Dos Santos.<\/p>\n

Those who already own a handset can get the SIM-only offer for Infinity Select for R999.<\/p>\n

International calls and premium numbers will be charged additionally, and out of bundle data rates are 99c per MB.<\/p>\n

If you run out of data, Cell C said you can load additional bundles by dialling *147# which offer a 15c\/MB data rate.<\/p>\n

The Infinity products will be launched from 1 March 2014 on a promotional basis, Cell C said.<\/p>\n

Asked about how long the promotion would last, Cell C explained that the idea is just to check whether the product works, but the intention is to keep it as a fully-fledged product.<\/p>\n

For the moment, however, the promotion is set to last one month.<\/p>\n
