Each webinar offers expert views and informed opinions on some of the country\u2019s most pertinent issues.<\/p>\n<p>Tracy Hirst, PSG Chief Marketing Officer says that they have been proud to witness the PSG <em>Think Big<\/em> <em>Series<\/em> contributing to South African discourse on issues that affect all citizens.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we head into the next part of the series &#8211; which will centre around the recent elections and state of the economy \u2013 we are confident that the insights and information that will come from the upcoming webinars will be informative.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>What to expect? <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The onset of Covid-19 has brought more pressure to bear on an already lagging South African economy, posing significant threats to the country\u2019s economic wellbeing and its ability to recover from the hardships of the past ten years.<\/p>\n<p>Among the more recent woes exacerbated by the pandemic are the pressures felt within the ranks of tourism and hospitality, socio-economic factors, and energy production challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Tackling the future of South Africa\u2019s economic landscape is Hugo Pienaar, who is responsible for the flagship BER Economic Outlook publication and the Bureau\u2019s macro forecasts.<\/p>\n<p>As the upcoming guest on PSG\u2019s <em>Think Big<\/em> webinar, Pienaar will be sharing his views on what lies ahead for the state of the economy and the steps that South Africa\u2019s stakeholders need to take towards economic recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Fitting at the start of the new year,\u00a0 Professor Bonang Mohale, Chancellor of the University of the Free State will provide insight into South Africa\u2019s economic policy and shed light into the road ahead.
