{"id":5403,"date":"2012-02-22T08:00:11","date_gmt":"2012-02-22T08:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=5403"},"modified":"2012-02-22T08:06:32","modified_gmt":"2012-02-22T08:06:32","slug":"samsung-confident-it-will-continue-strong-performance-in-sa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/hardware\/5403\/samsung-confident-it-will-continue-strong-performance-in-sa\/","title":{"rendered":"Samsung confident it will continue strong performance in SA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Company Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/333656-Samsung\" target=\"_blank\">Samsung<\/a> South Africa Managing Director, <a title=\"Person Information\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/209694-Deon-Liebenberg\" target=\"_blank\">Deon Liebenberg<\/a>, is confident that Samsung will remain the most popular TV brand &#8211; and that their strong growth in the IT market will continue in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to MyBroadband BusinessTech on Samsung\u2019s current position and future plans in South Africa, Liebenberg said that the \u201claunch of an exciting new range of innovative, lifestyle-focused products this year\u201d will cement the company\u2019s top spot in the SA TV and home entertainment market.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung is also aggressively growing their presence in the local IT solutions space.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur notebooks have been extremely successful in the local market, as with our laser printers and our monitors.
