Technology firm Business Connexion says its has acquired two companies on the continent, including Panabiz Nigeria.<\/p>\n
This, the JSE listed ICT player says, sis part of its recently initiated reorganisation process to advance its positioning as a global player.<\/p>\n
BC has taken a 100% holding of Panabiz Nigeria, and 100% of the holding of Ultimate Solutions Botswana, both effective from 1 March 2014.<\/p>\n
Panabiz Nigeria is a Managed Print Services (MPS) company operating in West Africa and is a well-established distributor of Canon in the region.<\/p>\n
Previously part of Singapore-headquartered Tolaram Group, Panabiz employs 8,000 people globally and has existing Managed Print Service and Annual Maintenance Service contracts.<\/p>\n
The two to three year inherited contracts have laid a solid foundation of annuity revenue, gearing it for significant growth in the market.<\/p>\n
Ultimate Solutions is Botswana\u2019s market leader in Point of Sale solutions with three branches in Gaborone, Maun and Francistown and a retail customer base of over 800 stores in the country.<\/p>\n

The Panabiz team of 60 staff members will join Business Connexion Nigeria\u2019s 140-member team based in Lagos and Ultimate Solution\u2019s 44 staff members will also be joining the Business Connexion Group.<\/p>\n
