FNB has expanded credit card features on its banking app for tablets and smartphones.<\/p>\n
The new features will allow FNB banking customers to better manage their credit cards by opening up the ability to activate and cancel cards through the app, as well as order additional or replacement cards.<\/p>\n
The updated app will also allow customers to link additional cards, including the bank’s Petro Card.<\/p>\n
Previously, FNB banking customers would have to log into online banking to perform these tasks.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe enhancements on the FNB App remove the need for visiting a separate banking platform which gives App users a more comprehensive and hassle-free banking experience,” said Giuseppe Virgillito, head of FNB’s banking app channel.<\/p>\n
“It also makes cancelling lost or stolen cards quick and easy, reducing the risk of being defrauded.\u201d<\/p>\n
The new credit card managing options can be found on the \u201cAccounts\u201d tab on the app.<\/p>\n
