{"id":54530,"date":"2014-03-18T17:35:18","date_gmt":"2014-03-18T15:35:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=54530"},"modified":"2014-03-18T17:35:39","modified_gmt":"2014-03-18T15:35:39","slug":"54530","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/mobile\/54530\/54530\/","title":{"rendered":"Apple replaces iPad 2 with iPad 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apple Inc said it would offer an upgraded iPad 4 tablet in place of the mid-range iPad 2 at the same price.<\/p>\n<p>The iPad 4, which has a 9.7-inch Retina display and supports LTE carriers worldwide, is available at $399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi model and $529 for the 16GB Wi-Fi + cellular model at all four major U.S. carriers.<\/p>\n<p>The fourth-generation iPad was launched in 2012, while the iPad 2 was launched in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Apple discontinued the iPad 4 last year when it launched its current flagship tablet, the iPad Air.
