{"id":547492,"date":"2021-12-15T17:04:41","date_gmt":"2021-12-15T15:04:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=547492"},"modified":"2021-12-15T17:04:41","modified_gmt":"2021-12-15T15:04:41","slug":"mtn-south-africa-chief-executive-steps-down","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/business\/547492\/mtn-south-africa-chief-executive-steps-down\/","title":{"rendered":"MTN South Africa chief executive steps down"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Telecommunications group MTN has announced that its chief executive for South Africa, Godfrey Motsa will be stepping down from the role effective 1 January 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Charles Molapisi &#8211; currently Group Chief Technology &amp; Information Officer &#8211; will take over the position.<\/p>\n<p>Mazen Mroue, currently Chief Operating Officer of MTN Nigeria, will assume the role of Group CTIO effective from 1 February 2022, taking over from Molapisi.
