{"id":55299,"date":"2014-04-03T13:35:06","date_gmt":"2014-04-03T11:35:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=55299"},"modified":"2014-04-03T13:35:06","modified_gmt":"2014-04-03T11:35:06","slug":"sanral-satisfied-with-9-e-toll-collection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/55299\/sanral-satisfied-with-9-e-toll-collection\/","title":{"rendered":"Sanral satisfied with 9% e-toll collection"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sanral CFO, Inge Mulder has refuted claims that the road agency has a cash-flow problem, saying that it is satisfied with the collection rates from non-registered road users.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Mulder pointed out that, while it&#8217;s true that only 9% of non-registered users pay after seven days, 35% of these users do pay within seven days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no cash-flow problem but possibly a misunderstanding,\u201d said Mulder. \u201cIn fact, we are satisfied with both registrations and payments made by non-registered users.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have always trusted that the public will do the right thing and pay,&#8221; Mulder said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This high level of compliance has also meant that we are on track to meet our debt obligations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sanral said it has 1.2 million registered e-tag users, and collection from these is &#8220;going fine&#8221;.
