The new Opel Mokka crossover has launched in South Africa in two trim levels at a starting price of R469,900,<\/strong> while the more premium option the GS Line starts at R519,900<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Mokka Elegance and Mokka GS Line are both powered by the same powertrain and are differentiated by distinctive exterior styling and interior features.<\/p>\n

The Mokka’s engine can deliver 96kW of power and 230Nm of torque with fuel consumption of 5.3L\/100km in the extra-urban cycle and 6.1L\/10km when in the combined cycle, said Opel.<\/p>\n

Despite the Opel Mokka Elegance and GS Line sharing the same engine, they differ slightly in design, with the GS Line offering a bigger touch screen and built-in navigation.<\/p>\n

Inside the cabin, standard equipment includes heated front seats, climate control, daytime running lights, a multifunction steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic lights.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the range offers blind-spot detection, hill-start assist, forward brake assist with pedestrian detection, speed sign recognition, lane keep assist, and driver attention alert.<\/p>\n

On the pricier GS Line, owners get a larger 10-inch central display with built-in navigation, a 12-inch driver\u2019s display, leather upholstery, electric lumbar support for the driver seat, keyless entry and start, active lane-keep assist with departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision avoidance.<\/p>\n
