{"id":59107,"date":"2014-05-29T09:10:00","date_gmt":"2014-05-29T07:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=59107"},"modified":"2014-05-29T09:10:00","modified_gmt":"2014-05-29T07:10:00","slug":"fnb-ewallet-transaction-value-up-95","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/banking\/59107\/fnb-ewallet-transaction-value-up-95\/","title":{"rendered":"FNB eWallet transaction value up 95%"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FNB says that more than R10 billion has been sent to recipients via its mobile eWallet solution in South Africa since its inception in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>The financial services group said that 53%, or R5.3 billion, of the R10 billion was sent in the last year alone (May 2013 to April 2014).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;eWallet continues to experience high growth rates, with an increase of 95% in the value sent, year-on-year,&#8221; FNB said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have seen such strong growth in our eWallet solution in South Africa. This proves the growing need to send money easily and instantly to anyone in the country.
