Consumers will be hurting following yet another fuel price hike this week, despite the government announcing that it will extend the reduction of the General Fuel Levy in June and July.<\/p>\n

The government said it would extend the R1.50 reprieve on the general fuel levy in June, to be followed by a 75 cents reduction in July<\/p>\n

The adjusted fuel prices, however, still take the fuel price to record highs, and consumers will have no option but to tighten their belts to accommodate these significant price jumps, said the Automobile Association.<\/p>\n
