Gijima is facing R3.3 million lawsuit from Isiqina Property Holdings for the non-payment of goods and services. This is according to a report in the Sunday Independent.<\/p>\n
The report stated that Gijima is blaming rogue employees for not paying. It also said that the company does not have the right to bring this action against Gijima.<\/p>\n
Gijima said in court papers that Isiqina Property Holdings ceded its R7 million claim to Sizwe Cabling, which is also suing the company.<\/p>\n
This report follows other legal battles, including a dispute with Anderson Scanning Technologies (AST).<\/p>\n
Gijima was facing a R184 million damage claim by AST who was axed by Gijima from a contract to digitise the records in South Africa\u2019s deeds offices.<\/p>\n
In March 2014 Gijima CEO, Eileen Wilton said that the listed ICT service provider is six months into a three year turnaround strategy.<\/p>\n
Gijima reported a decline in revenue from continuing operations to R741 million, from R911 million in 2012; however, the group narrowed its operating loss to R17.7 million, from R123 million before.<\/p>\n
