{"id":59511,"date":"2014-06-03T12:09:55","date_gmt":"2014-06-03T10:09:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=59511"},"modified":"2014-06-03T12:09:55","modified_gmt":"2014-06-03T10:09:55","slug":"bt-scores-significant-de-beers-contract","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/telecommunications\/59511\/bt-scores-significant-de-beers-contract\/","title":{"rendered":"BT scores significant De Beers contract"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>British based telecommunications firm, BT, says it has won a significant new IT contract with The De Beers Group of Companies.<\/p>\n<p>The six-year agreement, worth US$37 million (R390 million), sees BT orchestrate a wide range of IT services across 70 De Beers Group sites, including exploration and mining locations across the world.<\/p>\n<p>De Beers and BT teams are bringing together a full range of BT Connect networking technologies including fibre, microwave and satellite.
