BusinessTech’s 2022 Readership Survey has revealed which mobile networks BusinessTech readers use for their smartphones – and which networks they are thinking of moving to.<\/p>\n

BusinessTech is the largest business publication in South Africa – read by C-level executives, business owners, company directors, managers, and professionals every day.<\/p>\n

The 2022 Readership Survey was conducted in July, and was completed by 2,684 BusinessTech readers.<\/p>\n

93% of these readers are a purchasing decision maker or influencer in their household, providing excellent insight into what South African consumers think of the country’s top brands.<\/p>\n

Which mobile network do you use for your smartphone?<\/h3>\n

Looking at the Mobile Networks section of the survey, Vodacom is the most popular network among BusinessTech readers.<\/p>\n

It is followed by MTN in second, and Telkom in third.<\/p>\n

The graph below shows the results of the question: Which mobile network do you use for your smartphone?<\/p>\n

Are you thinking of moving to a different mobile network?<\/h3>\n

Readers were then asked if they were thinking of moving to a different mobile network.<\/p>\n

Just under 20% said they were thinking of moving networks.<\/p>\n

The graph below shows the results of the question: Are you thinking of moving to a different mobile network?<\/p>\n

Which mobile network are you thinking of moving to?<\/h3>\n

The readers who are thinking of moving to a different mobile network were then asked which network they would move to.<\/p>\n

MTN took first place here, followed by Vodacom and Telkom.<\/p>\n

It is also interesting to note that Rain beat Cell C in this question.<\/p>\n
