We prioritised payment of claims, to provide our customers with the peace of mind that possibilities for their future generations are enabled.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Strauss highlighted that over the past year, it paid out significantly higher volumes of claims than previously \u2013 helping its customers in their greatest hour of need.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe introduced premium payment relief to assist our customers when they needed it most,\u201d said Strauss.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe place value on engaging our customers &#8211; we integrated human interaction into our digital offerings as part of our closer to customer strategy,\u201d Strauss added<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><b>Index insights<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Consulta, who conducted the SA-csi survey, noted an increase in the complaint incident rate across the life insurance industry in 2021.
