OUTsurance, Santam, and Discovery Insure are the most popular car insurance companies among BusinessTech readers.<\/p>\n

This was one of the findings of BusinessTech\u2019s 2022 Readership Survey.<\/p>\n

BusinessTech is the largest business publication in South Africa \u2013 read by C-level executives, business owners, company directors, managers, and professionals every day.<\/p>\n

The 2022 Readership Survey was conducted in July, and completed by 2,684 BusinessTech readers.<\/p>\n

93% of these readers are a purchasing decision maker or influencer in their household, providing excellent insight into what South African consumers think of the country\u2019s top brands.<\/p>\n

Which insurer are you with?<\/h3>\n

Looking at the Car Insurance section of the survey, OUTsurance is the most popular insurer among BusinessTech readers.<\/p>\n

It was followed by Santam in second, while Discovery Insure achieved third place.<\/p>\n

The graphic below shows the results of the question: Which insurance company is your primary vehicle insured with?<\/p>\n

Are you thinking of switching insurers?<\/h3>\n

Readers were then asked if they were thinking of moving to another car insurer.<\/p>\n

12% of respondent said they planned to move to a new insurer for their car, while the remainder said they were not currently thinking about a move.<\/p>\n

The readers who said they are thinking of moving to a different car insurer were then asked which company they would move to.<\/p>\n

OUTsurance took first place, with Discovery Insure beating several high-profile brands to take second place.<\/p>\n
