The reduction in flow has seen several Johannesburg Water reservoirs and towers with critically low to empty water levels.<\/p>\n<p>The group said that supply at Commando Road Meter, Central, Sandton, Roodepoort and Soweto systems are being monitored.<\/p>\n<p>Highly impacted areas include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commando system: Crosby, Brixton, and Hursthill are all critically low.<\/li>\n<li>Soweto systems: Eagles Nest, Glenvista, and Naturena reservoirs are low at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Central systems: Crown Gardens tower is at critically low levels.<\/li>\n<li>Roodepoort systems: Impacted systems are at low levels.<\/li>\n<li>Sandton systems: Alexander Park reservoir is at low levels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The group said that customers in higher-lying areas will experience low pressure\/no water during this period.<\/p>\n<p>Johannesburg Water, meanwhile, was also forced to shut down the supply to the northern suburbs of the city on Sunday to attend to a major burst. Bryanston reservoir and tower were isolated at 05h00 on 3 October 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Affected areas include parts of: Bryanston, Lyme Park, Rivonia, Fourways, Douglasdale, Magaliesig, Witkoppen, Maroeladal, Craigavon, Dainfern, Kengies, Lonehill, Beverly, Paulshof, Pineslopes, Magaliesig View and Noscot.<\/p>\n<p>In an update on Monday afternoon, the water utility said that the w<span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">elding work has been completed. &#8220;Water will be restored slowly at Bryanston reservoir and Tower. Teams will flush the system to remove air from the network.
