Recruitment activity over the past 13 months has increased by 18%, it said.<\/p>\n<p>In-demand jobs skills<\/p>\n<p>Finance, Information Technology and Business &amp; Management have seen the biggest increase in hiring activity in the last month, the group noted.\u00a0In each sector, several roles have been advertised more frequently:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Finance <span style=\"color: #008000;\">+9%<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial\/Project Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Payroll &amp; Wages<\/li>\n<li>External Auditing<\/li>\n<li>Accounts Payable\/Receivable<\/li>\n<li>Credit Management<\/li>\n<li>Cost &amp; Management Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Purchasing &amp; Procurement<\/li>\n<li>Bookkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Financial Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Internal Auditing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Information Technology <span style=\"color: #008000;\">+8%<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Software Development<\/li>\n<li>Systems Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Technical\/Business Architecture<\/li>\n<li>IT Project Administration\/Management<\/li>\n<li>Database Design\/Development\/Administration<\/li>\n<li>Data Analysis\/Data Warehousing<\/li>\n<li>Business Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Systems\/Network Administration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business and Management <span style=\"color: #008000;\">+5%<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Middle\/Department Management<\/li>\n<li>Business Development<\/li>\n<li>Staff Recruitment\/Selection<\/li>\n<li>Executive Management\/Director<\/li>\n<li>Strategy Consulting<\/li>\n<li>Infrastructure\/Operating Consulting<\/li>\n<li>Team Leader &amp; Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Senior Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Over the past four months, there has been no significant decline in hiring activity for any job sector, CareerJunction noted.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Provincial differences<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regionally, 54% of job offers are in Gauteng, followed by the Western Cape (21%) and KwaZulu Natal (10%).<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment activity for Business &amp; Management professionals increased significantly from 2020 to 2021. While demand further increased from 2021 to 2022, hiring activity is growing at a slower rate.<\/p>\n<p>Demand for Admin, Office &amp; Support professionals has more than doubled in the Western Cape and in KwaZulu-Natal since 2020. The Eastern Cape has also shown a significant increase of 81% in hiring activity for Admin staff since 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Following a surge in recruitment activity between 2020 and 2021, demand growth for Finance professionals has slowed down in the Eastern Cape. However, recruitment activity for Finance professionals in the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal continues to grow year-on-year.<\/p>\n<p>CareerJunction highlighted the most in-demand skills across the various provinces, showing the positions that have shown the biggest growth in demand over the last 12 months.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Gauteng<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Gauteng, Bookkeeping has seen the largest growth in demand over the past 12 months, followed by Cost &amp; Management Accounting, Database Design \/ Development \/ Administration and IT Project Administration \/ Management.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bookkeeping<\/strong>: +79%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost Management Accounting:<\/strong> +61%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Database Design\/Development\/Admin:<\/strong> +60%<\/li>\n<li><strong>IT Project Admin\/Management:<\/strong> +55%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Internal Auditing:<\/strong> +54%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Western Cape<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Accounts Payable \/ Receivable was by far the fastest-growing job in the Western Cape over the last year, followed by Financial \/ Project Accounting and IT Project Administration \/ Management.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Accounts Payable\/Receivable:<\/strong> +70%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial\/Project Accounting:<\/strong> +50%<\/li>\n<li><strong>IT Project Admin\/Management:<\/strong> +45%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bookkeeping:<\/strong> +42%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Human Resources:<\/strong> +31%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>KwaZulu-Natal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In terms of the fastest growing jobs in KwaZulu-Natal, Account Management, Business Development and Financial \/ Project Accounting were only a few percentage points apart as the front. runners.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Account Management<\/strong>: +48%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Business Development<\/strong>: +48%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial\/Project Accounting<\/strong>: +41%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Senior Management<\/strong>: +26%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Middle\/Department Management<\/strong>: +26%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Eastern Cape<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the Eastern Cape, Admin Clerks have seen the highest growth in demand over the last 12 months, followed by Tool \/ Die Making and Middle \/ Department Management.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Admin Clerk<\/strong>: +36%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tool\/Die Making:<\/strong> +22%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Middle\/Department Management:<\/strong> +20%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Mpumalanga<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Mpumalanga, Senior Management and Middle \/ Department Management were the two fastest-growing\u00a0jobs over the past 12 months.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Senior Management:<\/strong> +28%<\/li>\n<li><strong>Middle\/Department Management:<\/strong> +21%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Limpopo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Middle \/ Department Management was the only significant front-runner in terms of the fastest-growing\u00a0jobs in Limpopo over the past 12 months.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Middle\/Department Management<\/strong>: +92%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>North West<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Middle \/ Department Management was the only significant front-runner in terms of fastest-growing jobs in the North West over the last year.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Middle\/Department Management:<\/strong> +72%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Northern Cape<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Middle \/ Department Management was the only significant front-runner in terms of fastest-growing\u00a0jobs in the Northern Cape over the past 12 months.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Middle\/Department Management:<\/strong> +37%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Free State<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Middle \/ Department Management was the only significant front-runner in terms of fastest-growing\u00a0jobs in the Free State over the past 12 months.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Middle\/Department Management:<\/strong> +25%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Business and Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The jobs portal noted significant growth in job opportunities in the business and management sectors of South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the job hiring for these positions are in Gauteng, followed by the Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal &#8211;
