are still underestimate HR\u2019s role in business operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sage.com\/en-za\/blog\/evolution-of-hr\/?utm_source=BusinessTech&amp;utm_medium=Article&amp;utm_campaign=November+2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Sage research backs this up<\/strong><\/a><\/strong>, as it shows that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>57% of C-suite leaders still see HR as an administrative function.<\/li>\n<li>76% of business leaders don\u2019t think HR\u2019s workload is unmanageable.<\/li>\n<li>96% of companies have access to HR analytics, but 68% don\u2019t rely on it to drive business decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This data shows that there is still a long way to go before businesses understand the true value of HR when it comes to making important business decisions.<\/p>\n<p>This role was highlighted during the pandemic, as the same research found that 65% of HR leaders believe their teams played a vital role during the lockdown, and 81% of business leaders said HR priorities are aligned with those of the business.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>The role of HR<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>While most C-suite leaders still don\u2019t use HR data to make business decisions, those who do have quickly learned of the major benefits this provides.<\/p>\n<p>HR departments have valuable information about the workforce at their business \u2013 which is crucial to improving the employee experience, as well as implementing effective diversity, equity, and inclusion policies.<\/p>\n<p>By leveraging valuable HR information, businesses can foster a superior work environment \u2013 and this can lead to improved productivity, reduced employee turnover, and the reduction of many other staff-centric risks.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\"><strong>Cloud HR and payroll technology<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Every superhero needs a good sidekick
