The Next-Gen Ranger line-up of Double Cab models comprises three powertrain options, manual and automatic transmissions and the choice of two or four-wheel drive systems, said Ford.<\/p>\n
The two base models are powered by a 125kW 2.0L Single Turbo engine, with the option of 4×2 or 4×4 \u2013 both featuring a newly developed six-speed manual gearbox. The manufacturer added that the XL series includes four derivatives, all powered by the 125kW 2.0L SiT engine, and is available in either 4×2 or 4×4, with the option of six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.<\/p>\n
In the higher-specification XLT series, there are four Double Cab models. Customers have the option of the 125kW 2.0L Single Turbo engine and six-speed automatic or the 154kW 2.0L Bi-Turbo with 10-speed automatic transmission \u2013 both of which are available in 4×2 and 4×4, Ford said.<\/p>\n
Two Wildtrak Double Cab models are available with the 2.0L Bi-Turbo engine, 10-speed automatic, with the choice of two or four-wheel drive. At the pinnacle of the range is the new 184kW 3.0L V6 Diesel, which is equipped with a permanent all-wheel drive system and 10-speed automatic transmission.<\/p>\n

As outlined by TopAuto<\/a>, The base models will include vinyl upholstery, climate control, 16-inch steel rims with all-season tyres, an 8-inch driver display, a 10-inch vertical infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four speakers, a multifunction steering wheel, and hill assist, said Ford.<\/p>\n
The XL models add to this with 16-inch alloys, cloth seats, and a lockable rear differential.<\/p>\n
The XLT then comes with the new C-shaped LED headlamps and daytime running lights, chrome finishes, side steps, a spray-in bed liner, six-way manually adjustable seats, a leather gearshift, keyless start and entry, six speakers, rain-sensing wipers, cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, and selectable driving modes comprising Normal, Eco, Tow\/Haul, Slippery, Mud, and Sand.<\/p>\n
The top-spec Wildtrak gets 18-inch alloys, eight-way electronically adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery, a 12-inch media screen, a Bang and Olufsen sound system with 10 speakers, a 360-degree camera, active park assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assist, pre-collision assist, and autonomous emergency braking.<\/p>\n
Ford also noted that every model in Ford\u2019s line-up would enable customers to express their uniqueness by accessorising their vehicles with a growing list of over 200 factory-backed adventure, urban and commercial accessories.<\/p>\n
