{"id":664119,"date":"2023-02-13T08:42:12","date_gmt":"2023-02-13T06:42:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=664119"},"modified":"2023-02-13T09:51:42","modified_gmt":"2023-02-13T07:51:42","slug":"euphoria-telecom-continues-its-support-of-reach-for-recovery-with-new-bravo-mastectomy-bra-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/industry-news\/664119\/euphoria-telecom-continues-its-support-of-reach-for-recovery-with-new-bravo-mastectomy-bra-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Euphoria Telecom continues its support of Reach For Recovery with new BRAvo mastectomy bra campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Euphoria Telecom is taking its support of local cancer charity <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reach4recovery.org.za\/?utm_source=MyBroadband&amp;utm_medium=Article&amp;utm_term=February+2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Reach For Recovery (RFR)<\/strong><\/a> a step further through helping to conceive and activate RFR\u2019s BRAvo mastectomy bra fundraising drive.<\/p>\n<p>Euphoria helped RFR raise R250,000 last October and November through two <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/qsuHAiMsg8Q?list=PLwc4gR-rvaY7TX3O6mc4UaOfVGku_5N7D&amp;utm_source=BusinessTech&amp;utm_medium=Article&amp;utm_term=February+2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Heart Gallery activations<\/strong><\/a> Euphoria conceived and hosted at the KAMERS events in Stellenbosch and Sandton.<\/p>\n<p>The concept and design for the He(art Gallery) was co-created by Euphoria and RFR and the new BRAvo collection drive is a continuation of that collaboration.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/euphoria.co.za\/?utm_source=BusinessTech&amp;utm_medium=Article&amp;utm_term=February+2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Click here to learn more about Euphoria Telecom.<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to be able to partner RFR with this innovative and essential campaign,\u201d says Euphoria Telecom national marketing manager Lauren Pybus.<\/p>\n<p>Euphoria will be holding a fundraising drive internally during Valentine\u2019s week, as well as providing felt hearts for RFR to give out as part of its BRAvo campaign collection drive on Saturday 18 February from 10am to 2pm at the giant sunglasses on the Seapoint promenade.<\/p>\n<p>RFR\u2019s Cape Peninsula branch launched its innovative pilot mastectomy bra project in late 2022.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Euphoria Telecom He(art) Gallery\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qsuHAiMsg8Q?list=PLwc4gR-rvaY7TX3O6mc4UaOfVGku_5N7D\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The project provides state patients with attractive and durable custom-designed and subsidised post-mastectomy bras, co-created with local lingerie brand, Thursdays.<\/p>\n<p>RFR offers the bras to state patients with no medical aid at a subsidised rate of R200.<\/p>\n<p>The organisation\u2019s hope is to have these bras covered by local medical aids, so that women of means may eventually \u2018gift&#8217; state patients with affordable bras in a forthcoming 1:1 mastectomy bra campaign.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving a mastectomy is a shocking and traumatic experience for breast cancer warriors and these beautiful bras are designed to make women look and feel their best during their treatment journey and beyond,\u201d Pybus continues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRaising funds for these bras &#8211; so that they can be given to those who can&#8217;t afford them &#8211; is a mission that everyone at Euphoria is committed to supporting,\u201d she states.<\/p>\n<p>To make an appointment for a mastectomy bra fitting, patients in state care can contact Mercia Abrahams on 082 921 5753.
