The model is used to draw conclusions about the job market in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Career Junction reported significant hiring activity in the following industries, with particular demand for the listed positions:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Admin, Office and Support (<span style=\"color: #339966;\">+15%<\/span>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal assistant<\/li>\n<li>Switchboard\/ Reception<\/li>\n<li>Teller\/ cashier<\/li>\n<li>Admin clerk<\/li>\n<li>Secretary<\/li>\n<li>Human resources<\/li>\n<li>Health, safety and environment<\/li>\n<li>Client\/ customer support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sales (<span style=\"color: #339966;\">+12%<\/span>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Telesales\/ telemarketing<\/li>\n<li>Representative\/ sales consulting<\/li>\n<li>Account management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Finance (<span style=\"color: #339966;\">+4%<\/span>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Purchasing and procurement<\/li>\n<li>Cost and management accounting<\/li>\n<li>Accounts payable. receivable<\/li>\n<li>Bookkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Internal auditing<\/li>\n<li>Payroll and wages<\/li>\n<li>Financial\/ project accounting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>CareerJunction noted that there had been no significant decline in hiring activity for any sector across South Africa &#8211; an uncommon occurrence.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Regional employment trends<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The jobs portal went into greater detail about job demand across the country, breaking down the most in-demand skills and job growth in each sector by province.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Gauteng<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gauteng has the highest economic activity and has seen the most significant demand for IT, Finance and Business &amp; Managment professionals, CareerJunction noted.<\/p>\n<p>The most in-demand employment sectors in the province include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Business and Management (+16%)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Middle\/Department management<\/li>\n<li>Senior management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Finance (+16%)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial\/ Project Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Bookkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Accounts payable\/ receivable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Information Technology (+16%)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Software development<\/li>\n<li>Systems\/ network administration<\/li>\n<li>Data analysis\/ data warehousing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>KwaZulu-Natal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) is the second-largest economy in South Africa.
