Pam Golding has listed a boutique wine farm in the Franschhoek Valley at an asking price of R75 million.<\/p>\n

The property sits on 24 hectares, with six hectares of vines and two hectares of olives.<\/p>\n

According to Pam Golding, there are two family homes with excellent views and a separate two-bedroom villa used for holiday accommodation.<\/p>\n

Additionally, there is a small boutique cellar and the opportunity to purchase a unique sparkling wine brand.<\/p>\n

“The main home has the warmth and charm of an old Proven\u00e7ale chateau with a separate cottage and flatlet, wonderful deep stoeps for watching the sunset, rim flow pool and lots of outside entertaining areas,” said the listing.<\/p>\n

Rates and taxes for the property reach around R2,400 a month, while a bond of roughly R780,000 per month would be needed to fund the home.<\/p>\n

Wealthy South Africans are continuing the shift down to the West Coast region to join foreign millionaires in lapping up stately homes.<\/p>\n

New data from StatsSA indicate that property prices in the country have surged by 98% since 2010, and the average property prices in Western Cape increased by 7.4%.<\/p>\n

One of the most notable signs of the thriving property market was shown by StatsSA which reported an increase of 141% in property prices for Cape Town over the decade.<\/p>\n
