{"id":69781,"date":"2014-09-30T12:44:11","date_gmt":"2014-09-30T10:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=69781"},"modified":"2014-09-30T12:47:59","modified_gmt":"2014-09-30T10:47:59","slug":"vox-acquisition-deal-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/telecommunications\/69781\/vox-acquisition-deal-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Vox acquisition deal update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vox Telecom CEO, <a title=\"Jacques du Toit\" href=\"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/forum\/showthread.php\/6605-Jacques-du-Toit\">Jacques du Toit<\/a>, says that the process for a potential acquisition of the company is 60% complete.<\/p>\n<p>Du Toit was speaking at the 2014 MyBroadband Conference in Midrand on Tuesday (30 September).<\/p>\n<p>Vox Telecom is one of the only remaining large telecoms operators and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) in South Africa which has not been acquired by a larger operator.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The process is 60% of the way,&#8221;
