{"id":698811,"date":"2023-06-25T16:03:47","date_gmt":"2023-06-25T14:03:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=698811"},"modified":"2023-06-25T16:17:07","modified_gmt":"2023-06-25T14:17:07","slug":"eskom-updates-schedule-load-shedding-schedule-for-the-week-to-remain-suspended-during-the-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/energy\/698811\/eskom-updates-schedule-load-shedding-schedule-for-the-week-to-remain-suspended-during-the-day\/","title":{"rendered":"Eskom updates load shedding schedule for the week"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Eskom has announced the load shedding schedule for the week ahead, with power cuts remaining suspended during the daytime. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eskom said that it will implement stage 3 load shedding at 16:00 today, 25 June until midnight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Load shedding will then be suspended from midnight until 16:00 on Monday, with load shedding then continuing at stage 3 until midnight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eskom said that this cycle will continue daily until further notice and will publish another schedule should any significant changes occur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The schedule is as follows: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sunday, 25 June<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Suspended: 00h00 to 05h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stage 1: 05h00 to 16h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stage 3: 16h00 to 00h00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Monday, 26 June<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Suspended: 00h00 to 16h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stage 3: 16h00 to 00h00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tuesday, 27 June<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Suspended: 00h00 to 16h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stage 3: 16h00 to 00h00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Eskom said that breakdowns currently stand at 16,524MW of generating capacity, while the generating capacity out for planned maintenance is at 4,376MW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Over the last 24 hours, a generating unit each at Hendrina, Kriel and Medupi power stations were<br>returned to service.
