Support and Business &amp; Management sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data for the report was gathered from 5,000 of the country\u2019s largest recruiters, agencies, and employers who advertise job positions on the CareerJunction portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The data for the report was gathered from 5,000 of the country\u2019s largest recruiters, agencies, and employers who advertise job positions on the CareerJunction portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the data did highlight the sectors that showed the most hiring activity over the past three months, including Sales; Admin, Office &amp; Support; Business &amp; Management; and Information Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The growth numbers and most in-demand jobs within these notable sectors are listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sales (<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color\">+16%<\/mark>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Representative \/ Sales Consulting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Admin, Office &amp; Support (<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color\">+15%<\/mark>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Client \/ Customer Support;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human Resources; Industrial Relations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organisational Design; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Infrastructure \/ Operations Consulting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Information Technology (<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color\">+6%<\/mark>)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Systems \/ Network Administration; and <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Database Design \/ Development \/ Administration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Regional differences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CareerJunction also reported that recruitment per province in South Africa remained relatively stagnant over the quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group noted that Gauteng still offers the majority of South Africa\u2019s job opportunities (53%) as the country\u2019s economic hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following 31% of job offers are in the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) combined, while the Western Cape saw a decline of 1% in recruitment compared to last month but still held the second largest percentage at 21%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a  data-lightbox=\"post-image\" href=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Screenshot-2023-06-28-100917.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"692\" height=\"444\" src=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Screenshot-2023-06-28-100917.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-699605\" srcset=\"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Screenshot-2023-06-28-100917.png 692w, https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Screenshot-2023-06-28-100917-300x192.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The report noted that the most significant regional hiring drive was experienced in KZN, where recruitment activity for Marketing professionals rocketed by 22% from March, April, and May 2022 to March, April, and May 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, this trend was not seen in the Western Cape and Gauteng, as both provinces saw a downturn in Marketing recruitment activity from 2022 to 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report also noted a slight decline in Sales and Information Technology recruitment across the three major provinces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Information Technology saw a minor year-on-year decrease (-2%) in hiring activity across all three provinces, while Gauteng reported the biggest decline (-3%) in hiring activity for Sales professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, CareerJunction further highlighted significant job opportunity growth in the three provinces for Admin, Office &amp;
