A penthouse in a new development in Midrand, Northern Johannesburg, has sold for R75 million. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The apartment penthouse has a private rooftop garden, a jacuzzi and a heated pool; and is found in the Ellipse development in Waterfall City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The development is being built by Attacq, the owner of Waterfall City, and Tricolt, a luxury property developer, which confirmed the sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to commercial property broker Ask Ash, the penthouse is a 400 square metre duplex, and is the most expensive penthouse in Gauteng.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Similarly-sized penthouses in Steyn City and Sandton have been put on sale for between R33 million and R45 million, the broker said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
