4 load shedding sticking around this week &#8211; here&#8217;s the new schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Power utility Eskom says that stage 4 load shedding will continue this week as the grid remains under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, load shedding will be downgraded during the day when demand is lower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage 2 load shedding will continue until 14h00 on Sunday before escalating to stage 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage 3 load shedding will kick in from 05h00 on Monday until 16h00, then escalate to stage 4 again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eskom said the daytime load shedding will ease to stage 2 by Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The schedule is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sunday, 23 July<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stage 2: until have increased to 16,943MW of generating capacity while the generating capacity out of service for planned maintenance is 3,761MW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the past 24 hours, a generating unit at Camden and Matla power stations were returned to service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the same period, a generating unit each at Duvha, Grootvlei, Kriel and Matla power stations was taken offline for repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The delay in returning to service a generating unit at Kendal and two generating units at Tutuka power stations is contributing to the current capacity
