South African mobile operator MTN has launched a new mobile plan in partnership with Disney+.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MTN will offer a bundle to its customers who sign up for a Disney+ Mobile Plan at the cost of R49. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
If customers pay for the bundle with their airtime or add it to their monthly bill, they will get 500MB of free streaming data per month, the operator said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MTN said customers will also be able to get a Disney+ mobile entertainment pass that will include 2GB of streaming data for R59 per month. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Disney+ Mobile Plan with MTN offers the same access to Disney+\u2019s catalogue of content from the streamer\u2019s brands of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, as well as general entertainment from Star. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Using mobile phones and tablets, subscribers will have access to features such as SD data-saver streaming, as well as including the feature for parents to set kids profiles to access age-appropriate content,” it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jason Probert, MTN SA General Manager for Digital Services said that the partnership opens MTN and Disney+ for further offers, alluding to more products for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We look forward to pursuing many additional features for our customers,” he said. MTN said that plans are in development for further Disney+ offers for MTN customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Disney said the partnership gives South Africans another way to watch Disney+ content in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Customers will have access to newly released films and series, including Marvel Studios\u2019 \u201cSecret Invasion\u201d starring Samuel L. Jackson, \u201cAvatar: The Way of Water\u201d, the Disney+ Original anthology series \u201cKizazi Moto: Generation Fire\u201d, as well as the original comedy series \u201cOnly Murders in the Building\u201d, with \u201cThe Kardashians\u201d, \u201cThe Simpsons\u201d and back seasons of \u201cGrey\u2019s Anatomy\u201d, \u201c9-1-1\u201d and \u201cBlack-ish\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
