Reunert, Altron, and Seacom are some of the companies which are rumoured to be interested in buying Vox Telecom.<\/p>\n
In June 2014, Vox Telecom invited local and international companies to look into\u00a0acquiring the telecoms operator.<\/p>\n
This process has progressed well, and according to Vox Telecom CEO Jacques du Toit<\/strong><\/a> the search for\u00a0a potential buyer\u00a0is 60% complete.<\/p>\n Du Toit said that he expects the deal to be concluded before the end of the year, and that the interested parties include a mix of private equity players and international companies.<\/p>\n Industry speculation suggests that Reunert and Altron are two of the front runners in the race to acquire Vox Telecom.<\/p>\n Reunert is currently disposing of Nashua Mobile and its subscriber bases, which will significantly dent the company\u2019s presence in the South African telecommunications market.<\/p>\n With the money gained through its Nashua Mobile sale, Reunert can buy\u00a0Vox Telecom, which will give it a strong presence in the business and consumer ISP market.
