Pick n Pay Clothing has reopened its flagship store in Sandton with a new upmarket design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new store is designed with two aspects of Johannesburg in mind, its historical significance as the City of Gold and its claim to be the largest man-made forest in the world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pick n Pay Clothing said the new flagship fashion store is part of a strategy to offer a “differentiated shopping experience” in selected high-traffic stores, with the next store to be revamped in Gateway in KwaZulu-Natal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of the revamped store style, the group said it would also be elevating its fashion ranges, with its womenswear range having a stronger focus on being more fashionable while also expanding its offerings in the kids and menswear departments, such as creating a new shirting and pants range due to the demand for affordable workwear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the Futurewar designer collaboration collection is also being expanded, with new collections and collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“By interpreting and adapting global fashion trends for the local customer, and collaborating with emerging designers, Pick n Pay Clothing is becoming a hub for style and innovation,” it said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Ten of these limited-edition collections have launched to date, with four further collections launching over the next three months.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur clothing \u2013 whether a daily essential item or a more fashionable piece \u2013 remains affordable for our diverse customer base. Delivering value will always be our commitment to customers,\u201d  Hazel Pillay, General Manager for Pick n Pay Clothing, added. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brand growth <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pick n Pay Clothing has seen a solid financial performance recently, with sales in stand-alone stores growing by 15.3% (5.6% like-for-like) in FY23. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, Pick n Pay Clothing is available in 21 hypermarkets, 149 supermarkets and 333 stand-alone stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group said it wants to add another 60 stores in FY24, expanding on the 59 stores launched in FY23. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While targeting more upmarket designs in affluent markets, the group aims to still solidify its position in the affordable value fashion market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
