here&#8217;s the new schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Power utility Eskom says that load shedding will be escalated to stage 4 on Tuesday evening, with a rotation of stage 2 and stage 4 repeating until further notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group was forced to push daytime load shedding to stage 2 due to the loss of three generating units overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage 2 will continue until 16h00 as announced, thereafter stage 4 will come into effect until 05h00 on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stage 2 during the day (05h00 &#8211; 16h00) and stage 4 overnight (16h00 &#8211; 05h00) will continue until something changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tuesday, 29 August<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stage 2: until 16h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stage 4: 16h00 to 00h00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wednesday, 30 August<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Stage 4: 00h00 to 05h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stage 2: 05h00 to 16h00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stage 4: 16h00 to 00h00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The implementation of the higher stages of loadshedding is due to the loss of additional generation units over the past 24 hours however, Eskom will endeavour to reduce stages of load shedding where possible,&#8221;
