{"id":71994,"date":"2014-10-29T17:30:47","date_gmt":"2014-10-29T15:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/?p=71994"},"modified":"2014-10-29T17:30:47","modified_gmt":"2014-10-29T15:30:47","slug":"airports-company-sa-appoints-new-cio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/businesstech.co.za\/news\/trending\/71994\/airports-company-sa-appoints-new-cio\/","title":{"rendered":"Airports Company SA appoints new CIO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Airports Company South Africa has appointed Sello Mmakau as its new chief information officer (CIO).<\/p>\n<p>The CIO position is a newly created role for Airports Company South Africa following the company\u2019s leadership realignment earlier this year, the group said in a statement on Wednesday (29 October).<\/p>\n<p>Airports Company South Africa\u2019s chief executive officer Bongani Maseko said: \u201cMmakau\u2019s new role is an important one, which will ensure that the information technology strategy is ideally aligned to sustainably support the growing organisation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;His position plugs into Airports Company South Africa\u2019s plans to conclude the filling of positions at executive level during the current financial year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mmakau was previously CIO at the Department of Home Affairs.
